Our annual Prattent Cup Charity Match Day is all done for another year. What an amazing day it was. This year we raised funds for a local community organisation; The Sanctuary - The Hills Women's Shelter.
The Sanctuary plays a vital role in the community by providing crucial support and shelter to women and children escaping domestic violence and homelessness. Established in March 2016 through a partnership between Women’s Community Shelters and the Hills Shire community, The Sanctuary offers a safe haven, enabling residents to rebuild their lives with dignity and security.
Supporting The Sanctuary as our 2024 fundraising recipient aligns with our values of community and resilience, principles that underpin the Kellyville Kolts Family & our supporters. The shelter is not only a refuge but a place where women and children receive compassionate support and are empowered to lead safe, independent lives free from fear. This mission is underpinned by a commitment to kindness, respect, and accountability, ensuring that every contribution directly aids those in need.
The Sanctuary's future is reliant on community engagement through volunteering and fundraising initiatives. By getting involved with our fundraising initiative, you can make a tangible difference to vulnerable women and children in the Hills, helping to sustain the shelter's operations and extend its services to more local families in crisis.
Thanks to the generosity and support from the Kolts Family and local community we were proud to present The Sanctuary with a $15,000 donation. The primary driver for this donation was the Giant Raffle. The prizes for the raffle were all donated by local businesses, Kolts Members and the Kolts themselves.

The Prattent Cup is also a festival of fantastic football and the on field action did not disappoint. With a late change to the schedule, AAM3 stepped in to the 13:00 time slot and the top of the ladder clash with Bella Vista set the tone for the rest of the afternoon. With wins for the AAM3, Men's Premier League Reserve Grade, Women's Premier League & Men's Premier League First Grade, including the retention of The Prattent Cup.
