An absolute blistering start from the home side was too much for the newcomers. The Kolts pressed, harassed and ferociously forced their opponents into mistake after mistake. It wasn’t long before they took the lead through some excellent play. Young Jay Gardiner⚽️, who would later go onto named Man of the Match, with an excellent finish assisted by Kyle Allen to give the Kolts a deserved lead.
The pressure intensified as the Kolts continued to press like possessed men. By the time half time came the game was truly over. Further goals by Kyle Allen⚽️⚽️ Spencer Fisher⚽️ and Michael Easterbrook⚽️ saw the Kolts take a 5-0 lead into the break. Easterbrook scored the goal of the game as he was asked to play in an unfamiliar role of 6.
The second half saw lots of changes by the Kolts team, but the momentum remained. A further 2 goals were added as Captain on the day, Arjun Sandhu broke his season duck with a calmly taken penalty ⚽️. Spencer Fisher capped off an excellent afternoon with his 2nd of the day⚽️.
The Kolts kept a clean sheet thanks to in-form GK, Jackson Walters, saving brilliantly from a Bella Vista penalty. Walters has been in a sublime form this season.
