The Kellyville Kolts Women’s Premier League side showed grit and resilience in their Round 4 clash against Rouse Hill Rams at Hills Centenary on Sunday.
Despite a shaky start that saw the home side strike twice in the opening minutes (2nd & 7th), the Kolts refused to be rattled. Nicole Carmichael led the charge with a stunning first-half hat-trick, finding the net in the 14th, 25th, and 36th minutes. Kevin Opia also joined the action, adding a goal of her own in the 26th minute to complete a dominant turnaround before the break.
The second half turned into a tense midfield battle, with neither side able to add to the scoreline. Solid defensive efforts and disciplined structure ensured the Kolts maintained their lead and walked away with a well-earned 4-2 victory.
A fantastic comeback performance that keeps the Kolts’ momentum rolling in the WPL campaign.

In a dominant display of attacking football, the Kellyville Kolts Youth Girls Premier League side delivered a statement performance with a commanding 14-0 victory over Norwest FC. Although officially a Kolts home game, the match was played at the neutral venue of Hills Centenary, but that did little to disrupt the Kolts' momentum.
From the first whistle, the Kolts asserted their authority. Sarah Vall opened the scoring in the 3rd minute, quickly followed by Emerson Sandy a minute later. Goals continued to flow in the first half, with Jemma Whalen (24’), Claudia Srsa (32’), and Jade Seghabi (39’) all getting on the scoresheet to give the Kolts a 5-0 lead at halftime.
The second half saw an even more explosive performance. Elanur Kadayifci struck just two minutes after the restart, igniting a relentless goal spree. Emerson Sandy completed a second half hat-trick with goals in the 4th, 22nd, and 33rd minutes to go with 1st half goal, while Sarah Vall notched a 2nd half hat-trick of her own with goals in the 5th, 14th, and 37th minutes to go with her opening goal from the first half. Jemma Whalen added her second in the 19th minute, and Jess Searle calmly converted a penalty in the 28th.
It was a complete team performance that showcased the squad’s depth, creativity, and hunger for goals. The Kolts now move forward with confidence and momentum, having underlined their quality with this emphatic win.
