Men’s Premier League First Grade – Kolts v Bella Vista: result 7-0

In a stunning display of dominance, the Kellyville Kolts Men's Premier League First Grade team routed Bella Vista FC with a resounding 7-0 victory in an away game. The match, held at Bella Vista's home ground, saw the Kolts overpower their hosts with a relentless attack and clinical finishing.

Cameron Harron and Hamish Callaghan were the stars of the show, both players delivering spectacular performances. Harron opened the scoring in the 10th minute, setting the pace for what was to be a goal-laden match. He found the net twice more, once in the 29th minute and again in the dying seconds of the game, completing his hat-trick with a goal in the 90th + 2 minute.

Hamish Callaghan was equally formidable, scoring four times. His first goal came in the 15th minute, followed by a stunning close to the first half where he scored twice, once in the 45th minute and then in the 45th + 2 minute, demonstrating his sharp shooting skills. Callaghan's final contribution was a goal in the 79th minute, sealing his standout performance.

In a commanding performance, the Kellyville Kolts Men's Premier League Reserve Grade team secured a decisive 4-0 victory over Bella Vista FC at Bella Vista's home ground. The Kolts showcased their strength and depth, controlling the game from the outset and never letting up.

Michael Abnous was a standout performer, netting two goals that significantly contributed to the team’s confidence and dominance on the field. His ability to find the back of the net twice not only demoralised the opposition but also set the pace for the Kolts' attacking play. Daniel Karlsson and Reece Iredale each added a goal, rounding out the scoring and ensuring a well-distributed offensive effort.

Youth Boys Premier League – Kolts v Winston Hills: result 1-0

A fixture that has proved to be a bit of a banana skin for the Kolts. In tough conditions, with the wind swirling, lack of match officials and rain, this proved to be a match the was nervy all the way to the final whistle.  

The Kolts took the lead through some sublime play and a great ball from Vice Captain, Arjun Sandhu. An expert finish from in form striker, Dylan Timoney ⚽️ saw them take a well-deserved lead. Timoney has started the season in excellent form and that continued here with his Man of the Match performance and match winner proving the difference.

The Kolts dominated possession and territory against their more direct opponents but wasted lots of chances to close the game out.  

In the end they held out for their 1st against Winsto and make it 2 from 2  

Onto next week as the Kolts have a double header. Saturday sees them play Rouse Hill 🐏 away followed by old foes Castle Hill United on Sunday at Fred Caterson

Women’s Premier League – Kolts v Winston Hills: result 5-1

In a compelling display of skill and teamwork, the Kellyville Kolts Women's Premier League team emerged triumphant with a 5-1 victory over Winston Hills FC at Max Ruddock Reserve. This impressive away win saw the Kolts dominate the game, earning them a well-deserved three points.

The scoring opened with Mia Nestorovic finding the net in the 14th minute, setting an early tone that the Kolts maintained throughout the match. Emma Clarke expanded the lead ten minutes later, enhancing the team's momentum with a well-executed goal in the 24th minute. Just before the half-time whistle, Grace Gibson scored a crucial goal in the 45th minute, effectively demoralising the opposition and securing a comfortable lead for the Kolts going into the break.

In the second half, the Kolts continued to control the play, with Alex Colosimo adding to the tally in the 65th minute. Although Winston Hills managed to pull one back in the 69th minute, it did little to unsettle the Kolts’ dominance. Steph Padilla sealed the victory with a final goal in the 90th minute, cementing a commanding performance.

The Kolts' offensive display was matched by their solid defensive efforts, which largely limited Winston Hills’ opportunities and kept the play mostly in the opposition's half. This win not only reflects the strong attacking capabilities of the Kolts but also their strategic execution and teamwork.

Youth Girls Premier League – Kolts v Roselea FC: result 4-0

At the neutral venue of Fred Caterson Reserve, the Kellyville Kolts Youth Girls Premier League team showcased their growing prowess with a convincing 4-0 victory over Roselea FC. This win marks a perfect start to the season for the Kolts, with three wins in three rounds, solidifying their strong position early in the competition.

The scoring commenced in the first half with Claudia Srsa opening the tally, quickly followed by Sarah Vall who added another, bringing the score to 2-0 by halftime. Both goals demonstrated effective teamwork and sharp finishing, setting a positive tone for the match.

In the second half, Nav Grover took center stage, scoring twice to double the Kolts' lead and secure the win. Her performance was a highlight, showing not only individual skill but also the team's improved cohesion and calmness in the second half. This tactical adjustment and smoother play contributed significantly to the overall dominance displayed by the Kolts throughout the game.
