A chance for the table topping Kolts to bounce back after their first loss. With more key players out due to illness this could have been another tricky afternoon. Losing skipper Arjun Sandhu and talisman Kyle Allen was a major blow to an already depleted squad.
However, the boys dug deep. Conor Siney leading by example following his bloody nose the week before. The game started fast and the Kolts soon took the lead with some brilliant play by Spencer Fisher. Fisher had a really good game as his confidence grows more each week.
Unfortunately, a momentary lapse in concentration from Adnan Mušič, saw a hapless Rockets score a fortuitous equaliser.
The Kolts responded when U16 Jay Gardiner came on. Gardiner who is only 16 terrorised the Rockets defence with his youthful exuberance. He put a sublime cross for stand-in 9, Dylan Timoney to score a quote sumptuous header to make it 2-1. Half time
