Female Football Week 2024 – 09 May to 12 May

Female Football Week is a nationwide initiative to celebrate the immense growth of women’s football at all levels of the game and acknowledge and promote the important role women play in developing football.

The objective of Female Football Week is to drive female participation at all levels of the game.

2024 Female Football Week for the Kellyville Kolts will be held from Thursday, May 9th to Sunday, May 12th.

Our week at the Kellyville Kolts will be actively involved in the delivery of female football events including:

• Female Gala Night - Junior activities and BBQ (U8 to U15) Thursday 9/5/24
• Female Football Game Day – Over 30 Women’s teams, Friday 10/5/24
• Female Football Game Day – U8, U9, U11, U12, U13, U15, Youth Girls, All Age Ladies, Youth Girls Premier League & Women’s Premier League, Sunday 12/5/24
• Special surprise for Mother’s Day, Sunday 12/5/24

Female Football Club Night

Our showcase event, the launch of Female Football Week. An event where we invite all Kolts Female Players, no matter what team they play in, to come down to Bernie from 18:30 - 19:30 for a celebration of female football. We will be running training drills and having fun activities for all ages. Our Women’s Premier League team & Youth Girls Premier League team will be on hand on the night to coach, support and run these activities.

We will wrap up the night with a massive group photo of all Kolts Female players, so make sure you get down to our 2024 Female Football Club Night and of course a celebration would not be complete without a BBQ, free sausage sizzle for all Female Club Night participants.

Female Football Week Matches at Bernie

Get your red and black on a get down to Bernie to cheer on the Kolts, whether it be Friday night for the Over 30 Ladies games or bright and early Sunday morning for the littlest female Kolts teams. Sunday has a full day of games showcasing Kolts Female teams from all age groups.

Keeping It Social

We are keen to share as much of the fun as we can on our social platforms, so make sure you take plenty of pictures throughout the week, share them with your Age Coordinator and then look out for your pics on the Kolts social pages.
