Man of The Match - Dylan Timoney 🥇

As round 1 was washed out the PYL team was chomping at the bit for their 1st game of the season. As it turned out they were drawn against a new team to the competition and wasted little time in putting them to the sword.  

After an even opening 5 minutes the game descended into a truly one-sided affair. A brilliant 30m strike from RB Zach Kelly saw the goal-scoring commence and from there the flood gates completely opened.  

The opposition did not get into the Kolts penalty area throughout the game as this was a complete mismatch from start to finish.  

The 1st half ended 4-0 with a double from Dylan Timoney⚽️⚽️ and 1 by Captain Ethan Jones⚽️.

The 2nd half got worse for the visiting team with 10 unanswered goals. A 2nd half hat trick from Kyle Allen⚽️⚽️⚽️ was the highlight but several players making their debut opened their Kolts account. Ahmed Attia⚽️, Anthony Ivancic⚽️, Jay Gardiner⚽️ and Tian Wang⚽️ all got on the scoresheet.

Despite a strong effort and solid play, the Kolts were unable to find the back of the net, while Kenthurst capitalised on their opportunities to secure the win. This result was a setback for the Kolts, highlighting areas for improvement as they look to bounce back in their upcoming matches.

Youth Girls Premier League – Kolts vs Putney Rangers: Result 7-0

In an outstanding display of skill and teamwork, the Kellyville Kolts Youth Girls Premier League team secured an emphatic 7-0 victory over Putney Rangers. The match, played away at Putney, saw the Kolts dominate from start to finish, with a striking performance that left the home side overwhelmed.

Sarah Vall continued her remarkable form, scoring a hat-trick that highlighted her exceptional talent and precision in front of goal. Jemma Whalan also played a crucial role in the victory, adding two goals to the tally with her dynamic play and sharp shooting. Grace Smyth and Nav Grover contributed one goal each, rounding out a comprehensive attacking display by the Kolts.

In an action-packed match at Bernie Mullane, the home of Kellyville Kolts, the Women's Premier League encounter between the Kellyville Kolts and Quakers Hill Junior SC ended in a thrilling 5-3 victory for the hosts. The game was a high-scoring affair, with both teams demonstrating aggressive attacking play.

The match kicked off with an immediate impact from the Kolts, as Hayley Thayre found the back of the net within the first minute, setting an intense pace for the game. However, Grace Gibberson proved to be the difference-maker, scoring in the 69th minute to immediately reclaim the lead and then sealing the victory with another goal in the 85th minute. Her ability to perform under pressure was evident as she coolly converted her opportunities, ensuring the Kolts maintained their upper hand.
